EXPERIENCED STAFF
Stephanie
Stephanie is a Lake Norman area native who attended Lake Norman Dental Assisting School. She has been a surgical assistant on Dr. Haigney’s team since May 2017! Prior to joining the practice, Stephanie worked alongside her father and sister as a karate instructor at Mangan Martial Arts Academy.
In September 2025, Stephanie married her wonderful husband, Christopher. Together, they share a beloved Rottweiler named Fonzi. Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys trying new restaurants, being with friends and family, and traveling in search of new adventures.
Amy
Amy graduated from Western Carolina University with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Business Management. March of 2022 marks Amy's 20th year of experience in oral surgery. Amy joined our team in November of 2020 serving as Director of Patient Relations.
Katie
Katie was raised in the Mooresville area and graduated from the North Carolina Dental Assisting Training School in 2014. With nearly 10 years of experience in dentistry, Katie has spent the last year and a half working in oral surgery with Dr. Haigney. Outside of her professional work, Katie is a proud mom of two.
Amanda
Amanda is originally from Apex, North Carolina and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she studied advertising. She has always known she wanted to work in the healthcare field and has five years of collective experience in the dental and surgical industries.
Kimberly
Kimberly is Dr. Haigney's wife and business partner, serving as the Office Manager and Study Club Coordinator since 2005 when they moved to NC and started the practice. She is a Massachusetts native with degrees in Nutrition science from UMass and Georgia (go Dawgs). She enjoys planning family trips and traveling with their 2 boys, playing (and watching) tennis, and following Boston sports.
Samantha
Samantha grew up in the rural town of Catawba, NC. She earned her BS in Health Systems Management from the UNC Charlotte. With a longstanding passion for healthcare, Samantha worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant throughout her college years. She joined Dr. Haigney’s team in November 2025 and has since developed a strong interest in dentistry and oral surgery, enjoying every opportunity to expand her knowledge in the field. Outside of the office, Samantha values spending quality time with her family and loves traveling to new destinations.
